As I sip my 7 dollar martini listening to some of the best live music I heard in a while, I just came to the realization that because of my past actions I might have ruined something that potentially could have been something good. I’m waiting for a sign positive or negative in the next couple days. The positive as well as the negative will be saddening in their own way. I wish I didn’t shut people out so god damn quickly. In my defense though, I haven’t had the best track record. 2012 needs to be the year where I become free from self doubt and my iron will. I can’t be so hard on myself to the extent where I don’t allow myself to have any enjoyment on what’s going on.
